The 2025 Ramcharger’s beating heart is an innovative hybrid powertrain that uses Ram’s tried-and-true 3.6L V6 engine as a generator for an electric system powered by a 92 kWh battery. This battery pairs with front and rear electric modules, resulting in a capable four-wheel drive system that generates 663 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque.

With so much power, you can expect outstanding grip on all surfaces and spirited acceleration, with a targeted 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds. The plug-in hybrid system also provides outstanding efficiency, with a total driving range of 690 miles. Fast-charging capability allows you to add about 50 miles of extra range in ten minutes of charge, while the Pentastar engine allows you to enjoy the freedom of a conventional gas system.

Utility and Cargo 

Beyond power, the new Ramcharger brings full-size truck utility. You can expect a payload capacity of up to 2,625 lbs, which is more than enough for most heavy tasks. You can also tow up to 14,000 lbs when the truck is properly equipped, which is more than enough for a wide range of cargo and utility trailers or an Airstream. The bed maintains a classic Ram 1500 design with a grooved floor with cleats and a rail system for easy cargo management.
